For our first major project, we had to create a program that was able to be a translator. We had full creative freedom, and could make it any way we pleased. I decided to create a world map that showcases different countries saying "welcome to our country" in their native languages. It would only change when you clicked on the button labeled with various countries. With this I knew my main focus was to use booleans, and if, and else if statements. I first started by creating the backgrounds for each language. This included a dropper that would drop on the country that was selected, and then changing the language to the language of the country. Since I created all of the images, I also had to utilize loading images. Once I had my first boolean completed the rest was easy. I also had to define each if statement with parameters. This mean it only works when you click on a certain part of the sketch, so where the button was located. I am very happy how this turned out and like the overall look.
